What makes a San Francisco bicycle club so special is that it’s well-known for its proximity to campus and its history. This is, to say the least, an anomaly. San Francisco’s bicycle clubs have held hands many times prior to its inception. I had the great privilege of meeting the rider of the bike club there and I could almost say I would actually follow him up to his bike club door and ask him his life story. One of my original ideas was to invite Ken Lovell to be part of my San Francisco course on motorcycling.

And it sounded wonderful. The idea to invite Lovell ended up being what I wanted. I met Lovell in a group you may or may not be associated with, but his talk was brilliant.
